Robert Stephen Leek, 65 years old, died unexpectedly at home with his wife, Alice, by his side on Friday, March 9, 2018. Born to Harvey and Irene Leek in Franklin, N.J., he has been a lifelong resident of Franklin.
Robert worked at various jobs before opening his own business, A-1 Sharpening in Franklin, NJ. He took great joy in music, visiting garage sales and flea markets, woodworking and tinkering with machines.
Robert is predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Irene Leek and is the beloved husband for 41 years of Alice Leek (nee Mudrick) of Franklin, N.J. Dear brother of Harvey Leek, Jr. and his wife, Cathy of Weirsdale, Fla. Best friend of Bosco. He is also survived by his aunts, Betty and Connie and several cousins. Alice would like to thank her family, friends, the Franklin Police Department, the Wallkill Valley First Aid Squad, the Franklin Fire Department, the staff at Newton Medical Center and Barn Hill Care Center for all of their help.
Private cremation services by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
