Parenting workshops offered

NEWTON — Parenting workshops will be offered during July and August by the Sussex County Family Success Center from 6-8 p.m. at 127 Mill St.

Participants will learn about the different stages of physical and emotional development during childhood, as well as techniques for positive discipline and improved communication. The sessions are free and open to the public; childcare will be provided.

Pre-registration is required.
Classes for parents with children 5 and younger will be Tuesday, July 8, until Aug. 12. Parents of children ages 6-10 are invited to attend from Wednesday, July 9 until Aug. 13.
